History of Nasarawa Luxury Hotel
In February 2020, Nasarawa State Government, owner of Nasarawa 10-units V.I.P Guest House located along Shendam Road, Lafia, signed a Management Partnership Agreement with Okiky Investment Limited, an Indigenous private liability company located in the Federal Capital Territory, whose core business interest is in hospitality and real estate; to commercialize the operations of the Guest House.
In February 2020, Nasarawa State Government, owner of Nasarawa 10-units V.I.P Guest House located along Shendam Road, Lafia, signed a Management Partnership Agreement with Okiky Investment Limited, an Indigenous private liability company located in the Federal Capital Territory, whose core business interest is in hospitality and real estate; to commercialize the operations of the Guest House.
As part of the terms of agreement, an upgrade of the existing facility to a standard hospitality outfit was required. Between March 2020 and November 2020, the facility was upgraded to include a standard Administrative block with conference hall, standard adult and children swimming pools, lawn tennis court, gym centre, a pool bar and additional business and presidential suites, making it a standard 77rooms to cater for the needs of its VIP guests and government dignitaries. The success of the upgrade works saw to the commissioning of the hotel facility on Tuesday 1st December 2020, by his excellency, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbanjo in the companies of his excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa State, and Chairman/CEO of Okiky Investment Limited, Chief Patrick A. Ojo (Ajiroba of Efon Alayee Kingdom).
